Mike Medici
Mike Medici is currently in his eighth year as an amateur area scout for the Texas Rangers covering the mid-west. Prior to the Rangers Medici spent four years with the Toronto Blue Jays. In his scouting career Medici has signed fifteen players to minor league contracts. Two of which have debuted in the MLB, Ryan Borucki of the Toronto Blue Jays and Kyle Cody of the Texas Rangers.
Prior to entering the professional ranks Medici spent two years as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Division 1 Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. In that time the team offense ranked nationally in multiple statistical categories. In those two years, Medici coached 6 All-Conference Players, 1 Player of the Year, and 7 MLB Draft Selections.
As a player Medici spent four years at Division 1 Niagara University where he was a multi-year All-MAAC Conference selection and was a Johnny Bench award nominee in 2006.
In addition to scouting Medici has created an online course for future scouts called Scout School 360 and writes a weekly publication called Full Circle Baseball.
